The Padawan Project – Star Wars Storybook Sessions for 2014 – Children’s Storybook Photography Studio

I’m excited to announce our new storybook session for 2014. These are limited edition sessions available on a limited basis for certain weeks of the year. For more information please contact the studio at studio@aforgetmenotmoment.com.

Our first 2014 storybook will be the Padawan Project. For those of you who have been to Disney World with a little boy (or girl for that matter – we know there are lots of little girls who love star wars too šŸ™‚Ā  you may have had the opportunity to sign up (or at least like we did realize you have to get to the park WAY early in the morning to even have a chance at getting in…oops sorry kid) for the Jedi Training they offer to the little ones who dream of learning the ways of the force.Ā  Well this folks is even better than that and instead of getting your own point and shoot crowded photos of the experience, you get gorgeous photos and a completely custom Jedi story to go along with them. Our storybook sessions turn an hour of play into images for your own custom Star Wars story for you to read and enjoy for years to come.

May the force be with you!

Happpy 2nd!

There’s something magical about the 2nd birthday. Yes the 1st birthday is fun, but baby’s can’t really celebrate when they turn one. Many of them don’t even like the taste of their first birthday cake! šŸ˜‰ Two on the other hand is another story. Two is an age of discovery, learning, magic, imagination, silliness! At two they can make believe, go on adventures to the moon, cook a yummy mud pie.. so much more. Now granted, two year olds don’t like to sit still for a traditional portrait, but if you know our work by now you know that doesn’t matter. We capture real life, real moments, reality of the joys of turning two. Happy birthday little loo!

Poconos Baby Photographer – Early fall birthday

First birthday’s are so fun. They are especially fun when you’ve had the opportunity to watch the many wonderful changes that happen in the life of a baby during its first year of life.Ā  As a mom of three I’m reminded everyday about how quickly our children grow. As a photographer who is blessed by many families coming to me with their newborns throughout their first year I realize the same is true for every mom. We must cherish these moments and enjoy the many many wonderful things about this transition.

Children’s Photography Studio – Alice in Wonderland Storybook Sessions

I LOVE LOVE LOVE doing our storybook sessions and I absolutely LOVE it when I get to have siblings in one together.Ā  The funny thing about this session is that momma is a relative of a dear friend of our family from years and years ago and we had no idea until the first time we met. So, needless to say these images are even more special to me because of that. What a blast these girls have together! There individual personalities are so different from each other but both of them were so fun! I hope these girls enjoy these images for years and years to come. What fun it will be to show their own children these one day!!!

Poconos Newborn Photography Studio

You saw a little sneak peek of this baby a bit ago, but I wanted to share a few more images from our wonderful session together. As you may remember, big brother wasn’t able to make it to the original session because he wasn’t feeling very well. And poor momma was barely able to make it to proof and for the “make up” photos because she wasn’t feeling very well. Thankfully it all worked out and we were able to not only capture some beautiful images for this family, but also put together and design the perfect birth announcement for them to share with friends and family.Ā  Thank you F family for choosing us as your studio for this special time!! Baby photographer – Portraits in the Spring

Eeek! That is really all I can say about these images. Not only is our little subject the biggest blue eyes you ever seen, chunkiest and cutest little man but we had another gorgeous day in Greensboro for his portrait session. We started off a baby’s first year package with 2 studio sessions and am so happy that we get to finish it up with this and another session on location. I always love to get a good variety for mom and dad to enjoy!

Greensboro Photography Studio – Spring is here!

I don’t know about you, but I felt like spring was never coming this year. We had such a long winter filled with illness after illness that the sight of warm weather and sunshine was very exciting! We really lucked out with this session too because we had actually planned to have it the week before. It ended up being quite cold and so we rescheduled. Lucky for us, the azaleas really came out and we had a beautiful 65+degree day. What a better way to celebrate the love this family has for each other! We’ve been watching these girls grow up for awhile now and what a blessing it was to see them again!

Baby’s 1st birthday – Winston Salem, NC

Happy belated birthday little lady! I’ve had the wonderful pleasure of knowing this family for 3 years now and have the opportunity to photograph this darling little girl since she was just a few weeks old. The time has certainly flown by and I can hardly believe she’s recently celebrated her first birthday. This is the first time I’ve ever actually been to Triad Park for a session and since it was just barely spring I was a little worried we were going to be facing a yucky dreary day and a yucky dreary brown background. Thankfully, even though a bit chilly and windy, we were able to pull it off and the grass was mostly green. Plus we found a little spot with some early blooming flowers. We’d already been waiting a couple months for birthday images outside, so although we could have waited a few more for a beautiful truly spring day, we decided to go for it!Ā  She was as happy and sweet as ever so I’m so glad we did!

Greensboro Baby and Newborn Photographer – Little P

I’ve been looking forward to meeting this little baby for a long while now. And I say baby instead of little boy, because mommy and daddy were not finding out whether baby was a boy or girl. I hate surprises you know! This little guy was absolutely wonderful for me this week and was truly worth the wait. I did unfortunately miss out on getting to meet daddy and big brother because of some yucky sickness, but thankfully they’ll be back over soon to get just a few of the two boys together in all their cuteness! Until then, I promised momma she woudn’t have to wait to see them all, so here is one of my favorites with mom’s requested prop, our beautiful little blue scale.

Baby’s first year portraits – 6 months, smiling and sitting

Oh what a gem! Isn’t she just the cutest little darling you’ve ever seen. That smile just lights up the room and I know this little girl is loved loved loved by her mom and dad and those two wonderful big brothers of hers! IMG_7321
