So after two reschedules.. don’t ask (lol), I finally got together with this little man and it was worth the wait! What’s even better is now everytime he sees these pictures he asks his mom if we can play together again! Its such a joy when my clients love their images, but even better when the child loves to come back to get photos because we have such a good time together! Greensboro Children’s Photographer – My Fairy Princess
The last month or so (since I’ve been back from maternity leave) has been so hot here in Greensboro. I don’t remember it ever being like this (although we’ve only lived here 2 years now). Its hard to not take advantage of the beautiful backdrop of nature here this time of year, but the weather these days is making me glad I have the studio! I’ve only done one session though there in the last couple months (of which I will share another time) so these poor kiddos have had to endure this blistering heat. Thankfully though they have all been super! This little one was no exception. Isn’t she such a CUTIE! These were some of the favorites from our session (which we ended at a pool btw! TOO FUN!) North Carolina Coast Children’s and Family Photographer – A Little Boy in the Sand
Right after AJ was born, my mother in law came for a visit to help us adapt to having a new baby in the house. She as such a big help, and I was so thankful to have her come. I didn’t want her to feel like it was all work and no play while she was here so my hubby and I decided we should take her out to the beach. This was our first trip out to the North Carolina coast since we’ve lived here. The instant RJ heard we were going to the beach, he was super excited. He hadn’t been to the beach since last summer when we visited my brother in San Diego. I have to say that even though the NC coast doesn’t really compare to LaJolla, it was still a nice trip and despite the terrible heat and humidity, we did enjoy ourselves. RJ was certainly giving me a run for my money though this day! No matter what momma did, I was not entertaining enough to get his attention! Oh well, we still had fun and I still love these shots!

It goes without saying, but this little girl is absolutely beautiful and her hair do is totally fabulous! I met this family recently at a local park here in Greensboro on what literally must have been the hottest and muggiest day of the year! They were all troopers though and we managed to capture some beautiful shots despite the fact my lens was literally fogging up from all the water in the hair. 🙂 I hope you enjoy this beautiful family!

I absolutely adore this little guy and even though he may take awhile to warm up to his session, once he does its all bright eyes and beautiful smiles! We had a great time in downtown Greensboro playing peek-a-boo, finding bug, jumping around, and eating ice cream!
